- The second night in the hospital, a nurse's aid brought Troy back to our room after a short stay in the nursery. She indicated that he was upset and was most likely teething! It was very funny and was the only time I wasn't so nice to the staff. Teething?!
- I waited for the moment to hold Troy for the first time, and anticipated our first "skin to skin" moment. I'm so happy Matt captured a wonderful picture for me to remember.
- We were scared to death of Troy's breathing noise he made when he slept. It was very rhythmic and loud. The good thing was we could easily tell you were fine as long as we heard the noise! I thought it would last awhile and it gradually disappeared by 10 weeks.
- Troy's favorite lullaby is "Twinkle, Twinkly, Little Star" performed by yours truly. I have sung it time and time again.
- Bouncing up and down and walking round and round seems to be Troy's movement of choice. At four months, this is still part of our daily routine. It's even better when we're outside.
- Around four weeks, I noticed that Troy seemed to have silent reflux. It was hard to see him in pain, but glad we visited the doctor to fix the issue. By four months, it seems to have left as quickly as it came.
- It was a blessing when we found the miracle blanket. There is no denying that Troy likes the feeling of the womb and being swaddled. We wrap him up and he's out for hours.
- All of the little sleeping caps were too small for his head. Except for the personalized one Granny bought him!
- We've used all of the blankets we've been given. Troy is like his momma and LOVES to be wrapped up and warm.
- No words could help us remember just how small he was. We loved to have him curl up on us and sleep, coo, and share dream smiles. We would stare in aw at him.
- Sleeping in the car is a challenge and usually doesn't last longer than 25 minutes!
- Stroller rides are much more successful now that Troy is a few months old.
- His first smile at 6 weeks was the best thing. It's great to see those smiles every morning now.

Don't Forget the Small Stuff........
As time continues to fly by, I wanted to write down a few memories. These are a few of the things that I thought we'd never forget, but with so many moments to remember, it's hard:
