Been a crazy month!

We've been pretty busy this month!! We have spent some time getting our house ready to put up for sale and we also took a trip to the west coast!!  Troy's personality has really started to blossom and he truly makes us laugh every single day.  He's been eating more foods (meats, cheeses, oranges, breads, broccoli, butternut squash, etc.) , walking along the furniture, army crawling, talking up a storm, giving out high fives, and really enjoyed his swim classes.  He had his nine month check-up and weighed in at 18.5 pounds, 28 inches tall, and still has a pretty big scradoodle :)

On our venture out to California, he enjoyed spending time with his cousins, took a gander at the Pacific Ocean, and strolled the LA Zoo.  We had a great time! Troy was a superb traveler and we couldn't get over how well he did on the flights.  Others commented that he must be a frequent flyer - we had them fooled.  I say we got lucky. The time change was a bit of a challenge for our regimented sleeper!  Let's just say we had many early mornings to enjoy the view of the mountains!

Valentine's Day for My Newest Love

Although I've never been a huge fan of Valentine's Day, I had to do a little something for Troy's first celebration.  Matt and I got him a simple toy (no batteries needed!) and I also had pictures of Troy and I made for Matt.  I was surprised to see that Troy made me a Valentine when he was at the sitter's!  It is too sweet!
