Also wanted to include a couple grandparent photos from the Christmas Holiday! Grandpa Goode and Miss Emma were out of town, but they visited us a few weeks later!

Better Late than Never!
I intended to include this piece in my earlier blog post about Christmas! We started our yearly tradition of making a birthday cake for Jesus. How fitting for Troy to wear his own birthday suit for the photo!
Splish Splash!
Last weekend we enrolled Troy in a five week swimming class at the Y. We aren't members, but are able to pay the non member rate to have him attend. We figured it would probably enjoy it seeing how he loves his baths! There are about 8 other babies in his class that are between the ages of 6 months and 1 1/2 years old. Matt and I are taking turns getting in the water with him and I took the first shot at it. During the class we sang songs, practiced kicking, reaching for floating balls, and dipping our ears in the water. Troy did great! He's actually still able to fit into his swim trunks from last summer. We hope that starting him in the water will have it's benefits and look forward to taking him on Saturday mornings! I can't wait to take him to the pool this summer!
Pictures with Mom and Dad
We have found that we have thousands (literally) of pictures of Troy, but few with mom or dad, and even fewer as a whole family. In light of this, I thought I'd share a few recent photo opps.

Christmas in January
Every year I get together with my high school friends to celebrate Christmas! Given every one's busy schedule, January is the best time to do so. This year we changed it up a bit! We elected to have the husbands and kiddos there for the first time and we also made it a baby shower for Amy and Tommy Roser. We really enjoyed our time together and thank Nicole for hosting! We definitely look forward to this every year! Unfortunately, we didn't get a group picture :(
One of the Greatest Inventions
There is no denying that Troy is quite fond of his fruit. He LOVES fruit and we even have to mix it with his veggies so that he'll eat them. Who doesn't eat potatoes with peaches!!?!?! We have made great use out of the mesh feeder. This thing is great. He not only gets to eat fruits, but it holds his attention for about 15 minutes which is wonderful, especially if you're in a restaurant. This past few weeks we have added blueberries, peaches, and cantaloupe to our list of fruits. Bananas, pears, and apples are still a huge hit. Other foods that have been introduces include potatoes, Cheerios, graham crackers, carrots, cottage cheese, yogurt and shredded cheese.
Here are some pics of the beloved mesh feeder!! My only complaint is that it's very hard to clean!
